Moist and rich chocolate cake

CAKE
1 cup butter
2 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 T cocoa
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
i cup cola carbonated beverage
1 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
Cake
Combine flour, sugar, and cocoa; mix well.
Mix 1 teaspoon soda in buttermilk.
Add flour mixture to buttermilk with soda
Add eggs and vanilla.
Blend at low speed until well blended. Beat one minute at medium speed.
Add cola. Blend well.
By hand, stir in marshmallows.
Pour batter into greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool 30 minutes Spread with cocoa icing
Cocoa Cola Icing
1/2 cup butter
3 T cocoa
1/3 cup cola
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup toasted pecans (optional)
Combine all ingredients except nuts.
Beat until smooth.
Add nuts
Spread on the cooled cake.
